Even though the clerk’s office is closed to the public, we are still here to serve you!


For vehicle registration renewals, you have four options.

1. You can renew by mail. Simply, mail your current registration, proof of insurance and payment to Mason County Clerk at P.O. Box 234, Maysville. If you do not have your vehicle registration, please send your renewal reminder or write down your plate number.

2. You can call the office at 606-564-3341 and renew your registration over the phone. You will need a credit card to do this.

3. There is a drop box on the front of the office building you can place your renewal paperwork. We will process your renewal and mail your registration and decal to you.

4. You can renew online at . You will need a credit card to process this.


For transfers and other vehicle transactions, please contact the clerk’s office at 606-564-3341 for assistance.


Marriage licenses


Marriage licenses will be issued by appointment only. Please call the office at 564-3341 to set up an appointment. Only the parties making application for the license are allowed to be in the office.


Real Estate Records


The deed room is closed to the public. However, you may call the office and request a copy of a record and we will be happy to mail it to you.


Primary Election


The Primary Election has been postponed until Tuesday, June 23, 2020. The last day to register to vote for the Primary Election is Tuesday, May 26, 2020. You may call the office and request a voter registration card be mailed to you or you may visit the Secretary of State’s website at or the State Board of Election’s website at .
