As county clerk, I am responsible for providing many services to the people of Mason county. These duties include general categories of clerical duties of the fiscal court: issuing and registering, recording and keeping various legal records, registering and purging voter rolls, and conducting election duties and tax duties.

Our office is here to serve the public in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. We are constantly striving to upgrade our services in order to better serve you. Mason County Clerk’s Office – TextMyGov Announcement

The Mason County Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce the launch of TextMyGov text alerts, which is a new text messaging service that will provide Mason County residents with important election information and updates to help keep voters informed.

Residents will receive text message notifications on upcoming election dates, vote center information, voter registration information, and other relevant items.  The Mason County Clerk’s Office will officially launch the new text alert system during the week of July 29^th. You may receive a text notification from 91896.  This will be a legitimate text from the Mason County Clerk’s Office.  Users may opt-out from all texts at any time by texting STOP.

If you do not receive the initial text message but would like to opt-in to the service, simply text

 “MASON CLERK” to the number 91896.  After sending this initial keyword, MASON CLERK, you will be asked to reply with a “YES” to opt-in for notifications.
