Mail–In Absentee Voting

Saturday, April 6 – Online mail-in absentee request portal to open
(45 days before the election).
Applications may now be submitted through the online portal at govote.ky.gov or by calling (606) 564-3341. The deadline to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot is Tuesday, May 7 at 11:59 p.m.

EXCUSED In-person Absentee Voting

Excused in-person absentee voting is for those voters who meet statutory criteria to vote in person prior to Election Day.

In-person excused absentee voting will be held at the Mason County Clerks Office on May 8-10 and 13-15, 2024, 8:30AM-4:30PM

No-Excuse Early Voting

Early voting will be held at the Mason County Public Library  on May 16-18, 2024, 8:30AM-4:30PM. Early voting is for any voter that wants to cast his ballot prior to Election Day.

MASON COUNTY PRIMARY ELECTION

Pursuant to KRS 117.086(2)(a), a secure ballot drop-box to receive voted mail-in absentee ballots for the Primary Election will be located inside the Mason County Clerk’s Office, 27 West Third Street, Maysville. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Election Day

Election Day is May 21st, 2024

The hours for voting are 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Mason County will offer five-vote centers for the General Election.

Any voter may go to any vote center to cast his ballot. Vote center locations are:

  • Mason County Public Library218 E 3rd St. Maysville
  • Mason County Fieldhouse – 1320 US 68, Maysville
  • Highland Christian Church – 4037 KY 10, Maysville
  • Mays Lick Fire Hall – 5036 Saltlake Circle, Mays Lick
  • Orangeburg Community Center/Fire Hall – 8002 Day Pike, Maysville
